Acceptable Use Policy
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses G8 ONE, including operatives, subcontractors and anyone with a share link. The customer is responsible for making sure its users follow it.
1. You must not
- use G8 ONE for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to store or share content that is defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene or infringes anyone's rights;
- create false safety records – for example signing in or signing off on behalf of someone else without their knowledge, back-dating records to mislead, or altering evidence;
- upload malware, or content you don't have the right to use;
- try to access another customer's data, another user's account, or any part of the service you haven't been given access to;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission (see responsible disclosure on our Security page);
- overload or disrupt the service, get around usage limits (including AI and user limits), or use automated tools to scrape it;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except as the law allows;
- share log-in details, or let more people use office accounts than your plan allows;
- use AI features to produce content that is unlawful or misleading, or present AI output as reviewed by a competent person when it hasn't been;
- process special-category data (such as health data) unless you have a lawful basis and it's needed for a G8 ONE module designed for it.
2. Safety records are your responsibility
G8 ONE is a tool. A competent person must check RAMS, COSHH assessments and other safety documents before they are used. Don't rely on G8 ONE for emergency alerts – it does not contact the emergency services.
3. What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove content, suspend users or suspend the account where reasonably necessary, and will normally tell you first unless the risk is urgent. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination under our Terms.
4. Reporting misuse
